Windows 8 network type change: Public or private

If your PC is on a public network, you should select the Netzwertyp Option "For Public networks". If the network later changes, you can also customize the type:
  1. Click on the bottom right in the taskbar on the network icon.
  2. In a Popup you'll find all the network connections listed. Click with the right mouse button on the network, the type of which you want to change.
  3. In the open menu select "Freigage enable or disable".
