Minecraft: Build an iron golem - this is how it works

To make an Iron Golem, you will need a carved pumpkin or jack-o-lantern and four iron blocks. Unlike almost all other recipes, you dont build the Golem in your inventory, but rather directly in the world.

• You craft an iron block by filling all nine fields of the crafting grid with iron ingots.
• You can get a carved pumpkin by using scissors on a pumpkin .
• Form a "T" shape with the iron blocks by placing one iron block on the ground and placing another iron block on top. Finally, add another one to the top iron block on the left and right.
• Place the pumpkin as a head in the middle of the frame.
• The golem appears immediately after landing. If there is a village nearby, he will go there.
• The Iron Golem has 100 health and deals 7-21 damage to enemies. If he takes damage, the golems texture changes. But you cant cure him.
• Creepers are not attacked by the golem. So you dont have to worry about explosions in the village.
• Other players will only be attacked if they attack the golem itself or villagers.
